Terms of Service

These terms cover this website and the FigSchema plugin. They are written to be readable - the plain-English summary is the commitment, not the small print.

The free plugin stays free

FigSchema Core - the plugin you install from Figma Community - is free, forever. Anything shipped in the free tier stays free: features never move behind a paywall later, and your canvas content is never gated, watermarked, or held hostage. Paid tiers only ever add new capabilities on top.

Using the plugin

The plugin runs inside Figma/FigJam, so your use of Figma's platform is also governed by Figma's terms. The plugin is provided "as is": we work hard to keep it reliable and your files safe, but we can't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Pro and Studio (launching soon)

Paid tiers are announced on the pricing page. The shape of the deal, stated up front:

• One-time payment, not a subscription. Your Pro plugin license never expires, and plugin updates are always included, forever.
• FigSchema Studio includes the FigSchema Desktop app (Windows, macOS, Linux) with 1 year of desktop updates included. Your app keeps working forever after; renewing (optionally) just keeps the desktop updates coming.
• A license key is for one person. Studio includes an extended activation allowance (up to five devices), and you can deactivate a device yourself to move your seat.

Pricing and the founding offer

Founding prices are introductory and limited to the first customers, after which prices rise to the listed standard price. The price shown at checkout at the moment of purchase is the price you pay. There are no hidden renewals: the only recurring charge in the entire product is the optional Studio desktop-updates renewal, which you choose yourself.

Refunds

If a purchase isn't working out, email us within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you in full - processed through our payment provider. One license per customer; we may decline refunds for clear abuse of this policy.

Acceptable use

• License keys are personal - don't redistribute, resell, or share them.
• Don't attempt to circumvent licensing or redistribute the plugin or desktop app outside their official distribution channels.
• Everything you create with FigSchema is yours - we claim no rights over your schemas, diagrams, or exported SQL.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FigSchema is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product involved (for free-tier use, that means zero - the free plugin is a gift, priced accordingly).

Changes to these terms

If these terms materially change, we'll update the date above and announce it (changelog, and email for paying customers). The free-tier-stays-free commitment above is not subject to change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh.
